What is our Purpose?

In college and in life we are asked questions such as what is our major or what do you want to do with your life. The world will tell you to go to college, get a degree, get your dream job, and live a comfortable life with a family of your own. All these things sound well and good but are they? My question is what has God purposed and called us to do? Think about it when God created us was His ultimate goal for our lives to live a low key, self-serving life, or a bold selfless God-worshipping life?  A great way to find out which life we are called to live is to read the Bible and ask God to reveal His purpose for our lives. In the book of Jeremiah 33:3 God promises to to show us things that we do not know. We serve an omniscient God so it only seems right to ask Him deep questions. As children of the most High we are not called to conform to what the world does, but we are called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Rom 12:2). These questions can include small subjects or large subjects and it most definitely includes asking God about our purpose and calling. The only way to live up to our full potential is to operate in the way that God created us to operate in. He knows what we were made for because He created us with a plan and a purpose so He has the blueprint for our lives.  So what is our purpose for being on this earth? This is a very deep question, but has a simple answer. Our purpose on this earth is to worship God and give Him all the glory.
